The timing, hot on the heels of the Nikon D5, is of course no

Summary. While the EOS-1D X II shows big improvements in base ISO dynamic range relative to previous Canons, high ISO performance only sees small gains, falling very slightly behind the Nikon D5, and showing little to no benefit over the higher resolution Sony a7R II at common viewing size. Put another way, there's not much between each company The image quality is impressive, with this high speed is the camera with good results, as well as a strong body. Canon Eos 1D Mark II N is still the best sister-in-class compared with most recent. Problems: Until now, no problem. View review in forums Leave a comment on this review At first blush, the Canon EOS-1D X Mark II looks to be a purpose-built sports-shooting machine, like the Nikon D5. But as we've seen, Canon has markedly upped the dynamic range performance of the sensor in this camera, which, for some users, will make it a better all-rounder than the Nikon. Vroom, vroom: the 1D X Mark II's image quality easily
The Canon EOS-1D X Mark II ably carries on the tradition set forth by its 1D predecessors. In other words, this camera is big and fast, with enough battery to easily last you a day filled with 14 fps bursts shot through a viewfinder that has incredibly short blackout times. None of this is really news, but it does speak to the continued

Designed mainly for use by professional photographers, it is a highly reliable camera, offering excellent robustness that is capable of withstanding extreme shooting conditions, drip- and dust-resistant performance, as well as a shutter
The Canon also has the option of shooting at 16 fps in Live View mode. Autofocus is another area in which the Canon 1D X Mark II delivers blistering speed. In our tests the 61 point system (with
1DX Mk II, Canon 1.4x Extender Mk III, EF100-400 Mk II, EF24-105 L Mk I, EF 50mm f/1.8, EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM (Non-L) I have been looking at mirror systems for some time and plenty of magazines are pros and cons, but does not help me in my decision.
Because of its dual DIGIC 6+ image processors, the EOS-1D X Mark II is incredibly fast, and overall, a great performer. The camera offers burst shooting at up to 14 fps (up to 16 fps in Live View). Additionally, it has the very fast Dual Pixel CMOS AF with 61 AF points (41 of them are cross-type). In general, its autofocus system works great
